This post reminded me of an old song (well, old to me.)

It was music put to a speech by Baz Luhrmann. It’s advice to the young. I don’t agree with all of it, but it’s a great reminder to live. Really live.

Number 6 made me laugh. Which brings me to my advice: laugh daily, unless it’s at another’s expense.

AND, after making sure the cat doesn’t constantly puke, make sure it doesn’t have stomatitis, a chronic infection of the mouth.

If you open a restaurant, learn the proper time to use quotations vs. italics. A sign saying: real “fresh” food confuses everyone.

I like number four. However, when you inadvertently tell a gal you love her (you will), don’t follow up with the proposal just to be in keeping with Number Four. Instead, say something like, “Oops.”

I “amen” to most of Jen’s comments. Where we differ are matters of opinion, not conviction.
1. Pare your convictions down to a few and be charitable when discussing them with those with whom you disagree. The other fellow has a good reason for how he got there, even if he doesn’t know what it is.
2. Giving (as God leads) is an investment, not an expense.
3. Tithing is not a financial decision, it’s just a decision.
